Charli XCX is in her actress era! The 32-year-old “Apple” singer has just been announced to be cast in her third live-action movie, a feminist fairytale titled 100 Nights of Hero, Deadline reveals.
This is also her second movie announcement in two weeks, following a starring role in an upcoming thriller with Olivia Wilde.
Also just announced for 100 Nights of Hero are Emma Corrin and Maika Monroe, who have been having big summers with Deadpool & Wolverine and Longlegs, respectively. Keep reading to find out more… Based on the graphic novel “The One Hundred Nights of Hero” by Isabel Greenberg, and inspired by the One Thousand and One Nights fairy tale, the upcoming movie “watches as a charming houseguest arrives at a remote castle and the delicate dynamic between a neglectful husband, his innocent bride Cherry (Monroe), and their devoted maid Hero (Corrin) is thrown into chaos.” Nicholas Galitzine was previously announced to star as the charming houseguest. Charli is set to make her big screen debut in the upcoming Faces of Death, and she’s co-executive producing the score for the A24 film Mother Mary with Jack Antonoff.
In addition, Charli is about to head out on the Sweat Tour with Troye Sivan. She just announced the Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat remix album, dropping the new “Talk talk” remix with Troye.
