Next week, rugby league's recruitment will go into overdrive. From May 1st, clubs are allowed to speak to players off-contract at rival teams and as such, the chasing of signatures for the 2022 season begins.
All clubs have been preparing months ahead for their next attempt to strengthen their squads and will already have targets in mind, while also being wary of losing their own players.
