Jennifer Lynn Lopez (born July 24, 1969), also known by her nickname J.Lo, is an American actress, singer, dancer, fashion designer, producer and businesswoman. In 1991, Lopez began appearing as a Fly Girl dancer on In Living Color, where she remained a regular until she decided to pursue an acting career in 1993. For her first leading role in the 1997 Selena biopic of the same name, Lopez received a Golden Globe nomination and became the first Latin actress to earn over US$1 million for a film. mirror.co.ukSailors have been injured in a huge fire that broke out amid explosions on a US battleship. The USS Bonhomme Richard caught fire this afternoon while pier-side at the Naval Base in San Diego, California.
Thick smoke could be seen billowing off the Wasp class amphibious assault ship. Local reports claim that 11 sailors were injured in the fire.
It appears that no one has been left badly wounded in the blaze. Loud booms have been heard coming off the ship, although it is currently unclear what has caused them.
It appears that the source of the fire was below the waterline, The Drive reported. Fire fighters from across the San Diego area were called to the tackle the blaze.
