Next year's SAG Awards ceremony has been pushed back due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The 27th Screen Actors Guild Awards have now been delayed to Sunday, March 14, 2021. The ceremony had originally been due to take place on January 24, 2021, but the effects of Covid-19 are being felt on the A-list ceremonies.

The move comes after the 93rd Academy Awards were pushed back to Sunday, April 25, 2020 despite the Oscars usually being handed out in the first two months of the year.

This will mean that the criteria for eligibility will be altered to be in line with the new dates for the SAG awards. Last year's ceremony saw a number of memorable moments with some of Hollywood's biggest stars.
