Dan Walker, 44, has revealed the family reasons behind his noticeable absence from the Strictly Come Dancing 2022 live tour line-up.

Despite reaching the quarter finals of the BBC dance show with his partner Nadiya Bychkova, Dan will not be joining his Strictly co-stars on the highly anticipated tour next year.The star explained that although he “can’t wait” to take his wife Sarah Walker and their three children; daughters Susanna and Jessica, and son Joe, along to watch the tour, he “sadly won’t be part of it”.Dan admitted in a Twitter post that after performing beyond his own expectations on Strictly this year, he “wants to be at home” to catch up on the quality time he missed with his loved ones due to training for the dance.
