S Club star Jon Lee has revealed the real reason the band had to cancel the second show of their much-anticipated reunion tour just hours before they were set to take to the stage.

The group kicked off their Good Times Tour at Manchester’s AO Arena on Thursday night (October 12). In a statement posted on Instagram just hours before they were due to hit the stage, S Club - made up of Jon, Rachel Stevens, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O'Mera and Tina Barrett - wrote: "S Clubbers, we're beyond devastated to announce that tonight's show in Liverpool has had to be postponed by the venue, due to them having an unforeseen technical issue impacting their power supply and therefore your safety.
