Rylan Clark had a simple yet thoughtful three-word message as he was officially replaced before being flooded with compliments by fans.

The BBC Radio 2 host was responding to seeing Janette Manrara and Fleur East together for the first time as the hosts of the Strictly Come Dancing spin-off show.

There are just days to go until the launch of the 2023 run of the hit BBC One dance contest and its return also means that It Takes Two will be back on weekdays on BBC2.

Rylan announced back in April this year that he would not be returning to the show after three years. "The time has come for me to pass on the baton to someone else and explore what else life has for me," he said in a statement at the time. "Thank you Strictly, you will always have my heart… and dancing feet." It has since been announced that the show will now be hosted by Janette and Fleur, who competed in last year’s series with Vito Coppola.
