Rylan Clark appeared to jokingly suggest that his dressing room had been 'stolen' as he returned to commentary duties for the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.
The TV and radio star was back on BBC Radio 2 alongside Scott Mills and the pair pulled out all the stops on Thursday night (May 11) as they dressed up as former Eurovision star Verka Serduchka and his "mother" to commentate on the proceedings, which decided the full line-up of acts taking part in the grand final of Eurovision 2023 on Saturday night (May 13).
And while the second semi-final show saw plenty of dramatic performances, viewers were left pretty distracted by none other than Peppa Pig who made an unexpected appearance.
The giant pink children's character made a cameo during the interval, seemingly leading a conga line through Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena. READ MORE: Join the FREE Manchester Evening News WhatsApp community While hosts Britain's Got Talent star Alesha Dixon, Ted Lasso actress Hannah Waddingham and Ukrainian singer Julia Sanina were preparing to announce the results, Peppa Pig invaded the stage The BBC's official Twitter account for the contest said: "Sorry folks, you cannot vote for Peppa Pig." And commenter Rylan joked the character had “taken over” his dressing room before the broadcast. "My dressing room was removed today – it used to say Rylan and now says Peppa Pig," he said.
