A Scots teenager said that he was left sleeping on the floor of an airport while other delayed passengers were given hotels after his flight home was cancelled.
Archie MacColl-Smith, from Inveraray in Argyll and Bute, had travelled to Dublin from Glasgow for a day trip on Monday, December 12.Archie was then told his return flight was cancelled.
However, he claims that he was told that since he is under 18 he couldn't book a hotel for the night. He explained to the Record: "Ryanair were providing rooms free of charge, but I was not entitled to one because they didn't have the legal responsibility to put me up."I ended up sleeping on the floor of the airport on the night of December 12 into the morning of the 13th.
