Several airlines have issued a warning for anyone travelling to France as industrial action is set to take place until the end of this week.

Ryanair, easyJet and Jet2 have told customers that they may experience some disruption to their travels thanks to air traffic strikes in France that began yesterday, lasting until March 10.This means that passengers either travelling to or through a French airport might face delays, so the airlines have issued some important information that holidaymakers should be aware of.Liverpool Echo reports that protests were scheduled to take place across France today against the retirement bill, which would raise the official pension age from 62 to 64 and require 43 years of work to earn a full pension, is currently under debate in parliament.

The strikes will end at 5am on Friday, March 10, so here's everything the airlines have said about the situation.In a statement, Ryanair said: "Due to a French Air Traffic Control Strike, we are expecting possible cancellations or delays on flights to/from France on March 7 and March 8.
