Ryan Rodney Reynolds (born October 23, 1976) is a Canadian actor, comedian, film producer and entrepreneur. He began his career starring in the Canadian teen soap opera Hillside (1991–1993) and had minor roles before landing the lead role on the sitcom Two Guys and a Girl between 1998 and 2001. Reynolds then starred in a range of films, including comedies such as National Lampoon's Van Wilder (2002), Waiting... (2005), and The Proposal (2009). He also performed in dramatic roles in Buried (2010), Woman in Gold (2015), and Life (2017), and starred in action films such as Blade: Trinity (2004), Deadpool (2016), and 6 Underground (2019).

Ryan Reynolds Readies New Movie 'Boy Band,' Will Star In & Produce Comedy About Reuniting Band

Ryan Reynolds is gearing up to get his pop star on in his upcoming movie Boy Band. The 46-year-old Deadpool actor is set to star in and produce the comedy, which The Hollywood Reporter confirmed on Thursday (February 23).

The outlet noted that he’ll work alongside writer Jesse Andrews and Shawn Levy on the movie. Ryan has worked with Shawn extensively and will also collaborate with him on the Hugh Jackman-starring Deadpool 3. It has been described as a comedy. It’s possible that Ryan will play a member of the band. However, his role hasn’t been confirmed yet.

No other actors have been tied to the project, either. The news comes as he and Hugh are prepping to suit up as Deadpool and Wolverine in his latest Marvel movie.
