Ryan Rodney Reynolds (born October 23, 1976) is a Canadian actor, comedian, film producer and entrepreneur. He began his career starring in the Canadian teen soap opera Hillside (1991–1993) and had minor roles before landing the lead role on the sitcom Two Guys and a Girl between 1998 and 2001. Reynolds then starred in a range of films, including comedies such as National Lampoon's Van Wilder (2002), Waiting... (2005), and The Proposal (2009). He also performed in dramatic roles in Buried (2010), Woman in Gold (2015), and Life (2017), and starred in action films such as Blade: Trinity (2004), Deadpool (2016), and 6 Underground (2019).

Ryan Reynolds Sells His Phone Company Mint Mobile to T-Mobile for More Than $1 Billion: ‘I’m Incredibly Proud and Grateful’

Ryan Reynolds revealed that T-Mobile will acquire his phone company, Mint Mobile, for $1.35 billion.“Mint Mobile is the best deal in wireless and today’s news only enhances our ability to deliver for our customers,” the Deadpool star, 46, said in a statement released by T-Mobile on Wednesday, March 15. “We are so happy T-Mobile beat out an aggressive last-minute bid from my mom Tammy Reynolds as we believe the excellence of their 5G network will provide a better strategic fit than my mom’s slightly-above-average mahjong skills.

I am so proud of the entire Mint team and so excited for what’s to come.”The budget phone company is under the umbrella of the Ka’ena Corporation, alongside Ultra Mobile — which T-Mobile will also obtain in the deal.

According to the statement, the Free Guy actor will remain involved in his creative role following the acquisition.Mint Mobile isn’t the only business venture that the Adam Project star has invested in.
