Ryan Reynolds showed up for his Deadpool & Wolverine costar Hugh Jackman as the actor kicked off his From New York, With Love concert series at Radio City Music Hall Friday night.

In his signature sarcastic tone that he uses with his longtime friend, Reynolds feigned shock at Jackman’s musical theater talent. “This fella puts on a show.

I had no idea he could sing and dance,” the actor wrote on his Instagram story over a selfie of him and Jackman. “I knew he could stab and grunt.

The show is an immersive retrospective and jamboree of feeling, giggles and joy. Not one dry eye in the house.” Reynolds attended the show with Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy. “Sitting with [Shawn Levy] and watching our pal tear a hole thru @RadioCityMusicHall is a core memory,” Reynolds continued. “I give it a 4.9 stars out of 5 because I was told there’d be a car chase.” RELATED: Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds Accuse Justin Baldoni & PR Team Of Continuing Smear Campaign Against ‘It Ends With Us’ Actress, Double Down On Gag Order Request The concert features performances from some of Jackman’s most well-known roles in movie musicals and musical theater, like The Greatest Showman, Les Misérables, The Boy From Oz, The Music Man and more.
