deadline.com9-1-1‘s Athena Grant (Angela Bassett) is embarking on another cruise. Hopefully it won’t end like her nearly disastrous honeymoon cruise with husband Bobby (Peter Krause) when their ship capsized in the Season 7 premiere of 9-1-1.
This time she’ll board The Odyssey and will meet up with the cruise ship’s Dr. Max Bankman (Joshua Jackson) in a special March 20 crossover episode for Ryan Murphy’s 9-1-1 and Doctor Odyssey.
The meet-up occurs during Casino Week aboard The Odyssey when “unexpected guest Athena Grant (Bassett) suspects two passengers are targeting the ship’s vault.
Enlisting Max’s help, Athena raises the stakes in a dangerous game where not everyone will end up with a winning hand,” per the episode’s logline.
