Steven Gerrard's Al Ettifaq are reportedly close to agreeing a deal for Ryan Kent as the former Rangers boss looks to reunite with winger.
Reports in Turkey state that Kent is nearing an Istanbul exit just six months after leaving the Scottish Premiership side - and is said to prefer a potential return to Ibrox or a move the English Premier League when he leaves the Turkish top flight behind.
However, Gerrard is said to have stole a march on the rivals with Ettifaq stumping up the cash to take Kent to the Saudi Pro League permanently.
Leonardo Bonucci has arrived at Fenerbahce in this window and Turkish Super Lig rules stipulate that only 14 foreign players are allowed per squad - with Takvim report that the 27-year-old is set to be cut from the first-team squad for the remainder of the season to clear space for the Italian legend.
