Fenerbahce boss Ismail Kartal has hinted that Ryan Kent may be left on the fringes of his squad despite demands from fans in Turkey for the former Rangers star to given more game time.
The 26-year-old is on the fringes of his squad after leaving the Scottish Premiership behind at the end of his Rangers contract last summer but was handed a rare start in the Europa Conference League victory over FC Nordsjaelland - with many of the Fenerbahce fans left impressed with the attacking display from the Englishman.
But Kent was back on the bench for the clash with Alanyaspor with the Istanbul outfit winning 1-0 to move top of the Turkish Super Lig.
Despite the positive signs for Fenerbahce without Kent, some fans remain irked at the lack of game time for the summer recruit.
