Former Rangers star Ryan Kent is battling for his chance to finally shine at Fenerbahce. The popular ex-Ibrox winger made the summer switch to the Turkish giants on a free, but has been forced to battle for any minutes in Istanbul.

Edin Dzeko and Dusan Tadic led some of the more high-profiles signings for the Super Lig side, leaving Kent without much chance of making the starting XI under boss İsmail Kartal.

The former Rangers man has managed just 29 minutes of league action since playing 85 minutes in the league opener. And now Kent has reportedly vowed to show the Fenerbahce boss his stuff during the international break, with the likes of direct competition such as Tadic off representing their country.

According to Vatan, Kent will put his best foot forward in training to impress the boss in the hope of more game time, and to win the 'favour' of the manager.Meanwhile forgotten Rangers man Filip Helander is relieved to have been brought of cold storage for Sweden.
