EXCLUSIVE: Seven years after Ryan Bartlett left UTA to launch Hyperion, the veteran talent agent is leaving the boutique agency to join Independent Artist Group.
He will work in IAG’s talent department, reporting to Andrew Rogers in a reunion for the duo who were agents together at Paradigm where Rogers headed Motion Picture Talent.
The deal for Bartlett came together late last week and was finalized over the weekend. He plans to bring many of his longtime clients to IAG, including Xochitl Gomez, Ashton Sanders and Natasha Behnam.
Meanwhile, the plan for Hyperion, which Bartlett ran since its June 2017 inception, is to continue with agents Austin Leshay and Will Atlas at the helm.
