Rutherglen Rotarians provide winter warmers as appeal collects in hundred of coats

Hundreds of warm coats and heavy jackets that will help people keep warm this winter were donated following an annual appeal by the Rotary Club of Rutherglen.The Wrap Up Lanarkshire initiative helps others during winter who may not have or be able to afford warm clothing, including those who find themselves homeless at this time of year.Around 400 of the winter coats and jackets were donated at four drop-off points over two days earlier this month, at Burnside Church, Croftfoot Church, St Bride’s Church, and Rutherglen United Reformed Church.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
