Rutherglen locals were given gardening tips at the Rutherglen Exchange Shopping Centre as part of ‘No Mow May’.Tracy Chambers from Healthy ‘n’ Happy was promoting their gardening club in the venue on Friday to encourage pollinators during No Mow May to thrive and enhance the local environment.No Mow May is a national campaign to encourage people not to mow their lawns until the end of May in order to boost the flowers, and nectar, available to pollinating insects such as bees, butterflies and beetles.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
