Rutherglen church's warm hub will open to help locals amid winter energy cost hike

A warm hub is set to re-open next month in a Rutherglen church to help locals deal with rising energy costs.Rutherglen West & Wardlawhill Parish Church ran their free community cafe last winter, and it will be open again every Monday from 11am to 2pm until the end of January, starting November 6.Volunteer Kim Jackson said: “We started it last year through funding we got from the National Lottery and had around 30 people on a regular basis.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
