Rutherglen bicycle repair shop to hold festival in build-up to huge cycling event

A Rutherglen bicycle repair shop is set to hold one of 24 cycling celebration events across Scotland this May in the build-up to a huge cycling event.Bike Town, part of Healthy 'n' Happy Community Development Trust, will be holding the CamGlen Cycling Festival events on May 20 and 21 at Cambuslang Park in preparation for the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships in August.Other activities on the day include face painting, balloon modelling, glitter tattoos, music from CamGlen Radio and lots more.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

There will be plenty of super cycling activities, from cycle lessons to time trials and races, Dr Bike, circus cycling, a scavenger hunt and Bling Your Bike.
