Ruth Langsford has spoken out about her harrowing experiences of being sexually assaulted in public as a child in the wake of the Sarah Everard tragedy.

The TV host also weighed in on the raging #notallmen debate in Best Magazine writing: ‘Not every man is a sexual predator or a murderer but they’re also not us.’ The 70-year-old went on to talk about how Sarah’s murder had caused many women to re-evaluate ‘what we feel, what we have, or do put up with — just by being a woman.’ She recalled how some of her earliest memories are of travelling to and from school on the Tube in London which she describes as being a breeding ground for predators at the time. ‘The Tube was my mode of transport and in the 70s.
