Ruth Langsford is celebrating a poignant milestone - her first birthday flying solo since the end of her marriage to Eamonn Holmes.The much-loved duo, who united in 1996 and tied the knot in 2010, called time on their 14 year union last May, taking fans and friends by surprise with the announcement of their separation.
Post-split life has had its ups and downs for Ruth who's openly shared about adapting to her new norm. While such changes are never easy, she's stood firm on the importance of bouncing back and nurturing oneself.
Chatting with Women and Home magazine, she shared her mindset: "You can let yourself crumble or you pick yourself up and get on with life.
It's a choice." She continued, revealing her current state of heart: "I'm not delighted my marriage is over, but I've accepted it.
