The former This Morning star underwent an operation in September last year after years of battling chronic pain as a result of slipped discs.
But shortly after the operation, he suffered a fall and the accident left him with a fractured shoulder and out of work for four months.
Eamonn was then hit by further heartbreak when his beloved mum, Josie, died in November and he was unable to attend her funeral.
