Ruth Langsford says 'ship has sailed' over ITV show future and points out what 'people forget'

Ruth Langsford has addressed any possible future on This Morning as the show continues to go through changes to its hosting line-up.

Since Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby's exit last year, only Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary have remained the ITV daytime show's constant duo.

The pair replaced Ruth and her co-host husband Eamonn Holmes back at the start of 2021. They have since been the programme's Friday hosts before filling in for the main presenters in the Easter and summer holidays.

However, all that changed following Phillip's shock exit in May 2023. The 61-year-old resigned from ITV altogether merely a week later after admitting to an “unwise but not illegal” relationship with a younger male colleague.
