Eamonn's announcement comes as the country is gripped by the coronavirus pandemic, and Ruth's decision to take the day off mirrors that of Love Island narrator Iain Stirling, who postponed his gig in London last night - as well as three in Bristol next week - as he is a feeling a bit "under the weather".
Eamonn shared a snap of him with former Saturday' singer Rochelle and said: "In 4 Ruth. The Bad News is Ruth a bit under the weather today.
