Ruth Langsford (born 17 March 1960 in Singapore) is an English television presenter of shows such as This Morning, Gift Wrapped and How the Other Half Lives. Langsford is an anchor on ITV's lunchtime chat show Loose Women and presents Ruth Langsford's Fashion Edit on QVC. She took part in the fifteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she came ninth. She is currently the longest serving female presenter of This Morning. Ruth currently is more frequently known for her exclusive fashion collection, for British fashion label QVC. After being approached to curate a collection, Langsford signed a multi million pound endorsement deal that spawned 19 sellout collections; 18 of which debuted at London Fashion Week Women’s Collection.

Ruth Langsford 'determined to leave' Eamonn after 'months' of trying to save marriage

Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes announced the bombshell news of their separation on Saturday May 25, after being married for 14 years.Rumours had began to circulate in recent times as the TV couple hadn't been spotted together for several months, with Eamonn now said to be 'furious' about their relationship's very public end.

The news came to light when a joint statement from their representatives was shared, which read: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”However, it's alleged that they actually split up more than one year ago with Eamonn wanting to keep things private in order to work on their relationship, the Mirror reports.

Fans of the couple, who presented This Morning together, had been trying to work out what was going on behind the scenes as they hadn't appeared together in a long time.

Friends now say Eamonn was 'struggling' with the news and wasn't keen to make it public. The joint statement is said to have been arranged by Ruth, 64, with Eamonn 'refusing' to partake. "Ruth can do what she wants but keep me out of it," the presenter is said to have told his friends.It's reported that Eamonn spent 'months' trying to save their marriage and their separation has 'very much been orchestrated by Ruth' who was 'determined' to walk away.According to the Mail On Sunday, one source who knows the Irish star said that Eamonn would become 'very angry indeed' when probed on the truth of his marriage."His language became really quite rude.
