Ruth Langsford has denied making a harsh dig at her reported This Morning replacement Alison Hammond.The 60 year old recently said she and husband Eamonn Holmes “didn’t do a reality show and get an overnight job on the telly”.

Alison, 45, rose to fame after appearing on Big Brother in 2002 and now regularly makes appearances on This Morning. And it has recently been reported the former BB star will join Dermot O’Leary in hosting Friday’s This Morning show, a role that is currently filled by Ruth and husband Eamonn, 60.
