Ruth Langsford has branded herself a 'chicken' as she gave her fans and followers a look at her latest trip to the salon. The Loose Women star often takes her fanbase along for the ride when she heads to the hairdressers to get her blonde locks freshened up.

The clip of her salon visit shows her hairdresser putting her extensions in before chopping them down to her desired length.

Ruth has previous reassured fans that her hair was not damaged in the process and explained she has "very small" extensions to help with the volume of her locks after she noticed they were becoming thinner due to hormonal changes.

Alongside her latest video, Ruth typed: "Getting my extensions re-done before the pre-Christmas rush @leobancroft salon! Old ones out, new ones in and then cut to length by @laurenhoughtonhair."
