Russell Brand 's wife Laura has deleted her Instagram page amid serious allegations against her husband. Laura used social media account @thejoyjournal to share her work but last night, following the comedian making a lengthy statement on his YouTube channel to refute any allegations of wrongdoing, she has since closed it.
Her account might be deactivated but her most recent posts are still available to search on Google and it shows Laura promoting her book, The Joy Journal, writes The Mirror.In Russell's video, which is 2 minutes and 45 seconds long, he says that he was contacted by a mainstream media television company who had put to him a string of allegations of misconduct regarding previous relationships.
However, he went on to say that all his relationships had been consensual.In the clip, he denied any allegations ahead of a mystery Channel 4 Dispatches programme, which is due to be aired tonight.
In a statement on his YouTube channel, Brand said: "One from a mainstream media TV company, one from a newspaper listing a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks, as well as some pretty stupid stuff like community festival should be stopped, that I shouldn't be able to attack mainstream media narratives on this channel. "But amidst this litany of astonishing rather baroque attacks, often very serious allegations that I absolutely refute.
