A new report suggests that Russell Brand is in trouble with the law for a reason separate from the allegations of sexual assault that surfaced last year.

The 49-year-old actor and comedian was accused of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse by four women in September 2023. He was sued by another woman a few months later.

He denies the allegations, but an investigation into them is ongoing. Amid that, a new report suggests that he was charged for driving violations. Keep reading to find out more… According to reporting by The Standard, Russell was pulled over for speeding twice.

He then “did not respond to legal letters about the alleged offenses.” As a result, he faces two charges for speeding and two more for “failing to tell police if he or someone else had been driving the car.” Russell does not appear to have commented on the report yet.
