Russell Brand has been accused of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse of four women, which the comedian says he 'absolutely' denies.
Russell, 48, shared a video to his YouTube channel on Friday night (September 15), saying he had received letters from a 'mainstream media TV company' and a newspaper, which he said included 'criminal' and 'very serious' allegations.
It has now been revealed that four women are alleged to have come forward with claims of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse against the actor, with incidents taking place between 2006 and 2013, reports The Mirror.
During this time Russell was a presenter on BBC Radio 2 and Channel 4, as well as starring in several Hollywood films. The allegations, which were made at the height of his fame, are set to be 'exposed' tonight in an investigation by The Times and Channel 4's Dispatches.
