RuPaul suggests he allows fracking on his Wyoming ranch and fans are so not here for it

RuPaul seems to have suggested he allows fracking to take place on his 60,000 acre Wyoming ranch. The RuPaul’s Drag Race star shares the ranch with his partner and during an appearance on NPR’s Fresh Air radio show, he revealed he ‘leases mineral rights to oil companies’, reports Pink News.

It’s thought RuPaul’s land sits on a haven of oil and gas wells and fans have taken against his latest comments, suggesting he is allowing fracking on his land.

Hydraulic fracking (or fracturing) involves injecting water, sand and chemicals under high pressure into rocks to create cracks in its formations, so that oil and gas can flow more freely and be extracted.
