Liam James Payne (born 29 August 1993) is an English singer and songwriter.
He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction.
Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned for the British television series The X Factor in 2008. After being eliminated as a solo performer, he auditioned again in 2010 and was put into a group with four other contestants to form One Direction

nme.comRüfüs du Sol have announced a huge London show for next summer, alongside a string of European tour dates.Following the release of their new album ‘Inhale / Exhale’ earlier this month, the Grammy Award-winning group have confirmed a tour of the same name, which includes a stop at London’s Crystal Palace Park – marking their biggest show in the UK to date.The show is set to take place on July 5 2025 and will feature yet-to-be-announced support acts.Prior to the Crystal Palace gig, the Australian trio will kick off the European tour in Barcelona on June 11, before heading to Berlin, Amsterdam, Rome and Paris in the same month.
