It was Claudio Ranieri who was first labelled as 'The Tinkerman' for his constant changes while in charge of Chelsea. Ruben Amorim is bringing the phrase back into fashion.
The Manchester United boss made six changes for matches two and three of his reign before limiting it to four for the visit of Nottingham Forest on Saturday night.
Some of the changes over the last month were forced, with suspension and injury hampering his ability to field a consistent side, while Amorim's dissatisfaction at United's fitness levels has also played a part.
