RTÉ will broadcast hotly-anticipated Oprah interview with Meghan and Harry

evoke.ieThere’s been a major bidding war behind the scenes for Oprah’s much-hyped interview with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry and now RTÉ has revealed they too will be broadcasting the exclusive.
The special will no doubt become one of the most-watched pieces of telly in modern TV history so this comes as a great coup for RTÉ 2.
The interview is set to air on CBS in the States on Sunday 7 March with ITV scooping the rights in the UK for the tell-all chat and it sure cost them some major pennies.
It’s thought the deal set them back £1 million! The broadcaster will air Oprah with Meghan and Harry: A Primetime Special on Monday 8 March at 8pm.
