RTÉ reporter Sharon Tobin has detailed how losing her father to a hit and run when she was just four years old impacted her life.
Now a mum of two herself (she has a daughter called Hannah and a son named Tobin), Sharon’s own mother Christine was just 26 when she was widowed after the reporter’s dad was was in a fatal accident caused by a drunk driver.
Recounting the life-altering event that occurred when her dad Tommy was cycling home from work, she told the RTÉ Guide, ‘She was 26 when she was widowed.
