Race was one of the factors which led to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's decision to the quit the royal family, an author has claimed.
Omid Scobie, who teamed up with Carolyn Durand to pen the biography Finding Freedom, said the institution's "ignorance" could have made things very difficult for the duchess.
