King Charles and Queen Camilla will be hosting Christmas at Sandringham House this year, complete with Boxing Day traditions which involve a controversial sport.The monarch is following in the steps of his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, by hosting the Royal Family at Sandringham in Norfolk.They will be joined by the likes of Prince William and Kate Middleton, along with their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, who will stay nearby at Anmer Hall.

Also expected to take part in this year's festivities, include Anne, Princess Royal and her family, Earl and Countess of Wessex and their two children, as well as members of Camilla's family.

On Christmas Day the family traditionally attend church in the morning, making a public appearance, before a banquette at the estate and games.

On Boxing Day, the firm has a much quieter affair, away from the spotlight. It starts with a breakfast of kedgeree, a traditional fish and rice dish made with curry powder, it has been reported.
