Royal Ascot, Wimbledon and English test cricket are just a few of the events set to welcome back up to 10,000 fans this summer as part of the Government’s four-step plan to lift Covid-19 restrictions.Boris Johnson has confirmed the roadmap to end Britain’s coronavirus lockdown by June 21, which will begin when schools reopen and small outdoor actives are allowed on March 8.Two weeks later outdoor sports facilities and organised sporting will return along with outdoor gatherings of up to six people or two households.That’s before a huge second step on April 12, which will see non-essential retail, indoor leisure centres and outdoor hospitality given the green light to reopen.And on May 17 cinemas, hotels and sporting venues will be allowed.
