Roy Wood Jr Turns Down Shot On CNN New Year's Eve Special, Jokes About Don Lemon's Firing

The 46-year-old actor and comedian appeared alongside hosts Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper, as well as his Have I Got News For You co-stars Amber Ruffin and Michael Ian Black. Andy and Anderson have once again continued their drinking traditions during the telecast, with the Bravo host offering the group shots of tequila.
However, Roy turned it down and made a joke about former co-host Don Lemon getting fired last year. Keep reading to see what he said… “Oh, no,” Roy replied to Andy. “No, I don’t [want one].
The last Black man that drank on this network got fired. I’m going to keep it with water for right now. I need some stability.” Andy appeared a bit stunned by the comment and after Roy stopped talking, quickly changed the subject.
