Talk about an epic boardroom battle: Succession’s Jeremy Strong and Kieran Culkin were both nominated in Oscar’s Supporting Actor category this morning.
Fortunately, the two actors have been in this position before. Both men were up for Best Actor in a Leading Role at the 2023 Emmys.
In that case, Culkin won for playing Roman Roy. Strong, who played Kendall Roy in the HBO drama, won his first Emmy in the Best Actor category in 2020.
The two also faced off at this year’s Golden Globes in the Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role In Any Motion Picture category for their movies.
