Naman Ramachandran The U.K.’s National Theatre Live has unveiled cinema release plans for “Inter Alia,” starring Rosamund Pike as a London Crown Court Judge navigating professional demands and family life.
The production, which runs at the National Theatre’s Lyttelton theatre from July 10 to Sept. 13, marks a high-profile reunion of writer Suzie Miller and director Justin Martin following their breakout hit “Prima Facie,” starring Jodie Comer.
Pike, the Oscar-nominated star of “Gone Girl” and recently seen in “Saltburn,” portrays Jessica Parks, described as “a smart, compassionate, true maverick” who balances her judicial career with being “a karaoke fiend, a loving wife and a supportive parent.” The narrative centers on how an unexpected event threatens her carefully calibrated life.
Jamie Glover (“Waterloo Road”) and Jasper Talbot (“Redlands”) join Pike in her National Theatre debut. “Inter Alia” will broadcast live to cinemas around the U.K.
