A sequel to the cult classic movie Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion is finally happening! The film, starring Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino as the title characters, was released back in 1997 and only grossed $29 million at the box office, but has had a successful life on home video and streaming ever since.

Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion followed two carefree party girls who reinvent themselves for their 10-year high school reunion.

He is best known for directing the Disney+ movie Better Nate Than Never and for creating the streamer’s hit show High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Robin Schiff is writing the the movie after previously writing the original film.
