Penny Lancaster participated in a passing out parade with the City of London Police yesterday, marking the official completion of her special constabulary training.
The 51-year-old, who decided to join the force last year, received a certificate at the ceremony and marched in a procession alongside some of her colleagues in the capital.
And it's understood that Penny's rockstar husband Sir Rod Stewart, 77, supported her at the event, alongside family and friends of the other recruits who were in attendance too.
Photos from the special occasion have been shared on social media, showing the mother-of-two wearing a black suit for the ceremony, as well as a police hat and tie, writes The Mirror. The charity Care Of Police Survivors (COPS) - of which Penny is a patron - shared photos from the event, congratulating her in posts on Twitter yesterday afternoon. "Congratulations to COPS Patron Penny Lancaster with her passing out certificate," the charity wrote alongside a photo of the special constable proudly holding her certificate.Another photo showed Penny alongside the charity's trustee, Chief Superintendent Rob Atkin.
