Piers Morgan hailed Sir Rod Stewart "classy" and a "ledge" as he shared a snap of the rocker posing in a Celtic tracksuit. The Maggie May singer, 78, was the topic of Morgan's recent Uncensored column in The Sun newspaper and he sent a special snap to the former Good Morning Britain host as a way of thanking him for his kind words.
The broadcaster, 57, describes the Hoops-daft singer as an "incredibly big-hearted and generous guy, who cares passionately about his country" in his latest piece.
To show his appreciation, Rod posed in a full Celtic tracksuit and posed with a copy of the newspaper. Touched by the singer's thoughtfulness, Piers re-shared the snap to Instagram, with the caption: "Very few stars ever say thanks for a nice column about them, even fewer text a pic of themselves holding it with a note of gratitude.
