Rock and roll legend Sir Rod Stewart has been captivating audiences with his impressive music for over six decades, with countless songs having earned him a special place in the hearts of his fans around the globe.
With an impressive track record of 10 number one albums, 31 top-ten UK singles and a number of movie soundtrack contributions, it’s no surprise that the 79 year old singer has become one of the most in demand artists to see on tour.
Yet with global tours dominating much of his life, Rod has opened up about one of his unique passions that helped to keep him sane while on the road.
Speaking exclusively to OK!, the singer revealed that one of his biggest sources of comfort and stress relief is his model railway collection - and parts of it even accompany him on tour. “I’ve always loved model railroading, ever since I was a little kid,” explained the singer. “I've told so many people, but when I was about 12, I wanted a signal box for my railway and my dad bought me a bloody guitar! “That's what started it all off.
