Rod Stewart fires jibe at exes saying 'you knew what you were getting yourself into'

Rod Stewart has claimed that he warned his exes that they knew what they were "getting" themselves in for. The singer has six children with four previous exes – Alana Stewart, Suzannah Hourde, Kelly Emberg and Rachel Hunter.

And he also shares two children with current wife Penny Lancaster.Rod opened up about parenthood in a recent episode of Sunday with Miriam and fired a cheeky jibe at some of his exes.He was asked whether he's a different father now that he's older or if he thought he'd "always" been a good dad.

Rod admitted that he'd "missed out" on two of his children's "upbringing", but he claimed that he gave his exes fair warning.Rod said: "I think most dads think they've made mistakes.

I mean, my big mistake was I spent a lot of time on the road away from home, you know, in the late 70s, early 80s."He continued: "So I sort of missed out on Kim and Sean's upbringing.
