Iggy Pop, Gracie Abrams and more.Next year’s instalment of the festival will be held between July 3 and July 6 at Belgium’s Festivalpark Werchter, and mark 50 years since the very first edition.The first wave of artists were confirmed a few weeks back, with rock heavyweights Linkin Park and Green Day set to headline on the Thursday (3) and Friday (4) days respectively, while Sam Fender and Olivia Rodrigo performing on the main stage as headliners on Saturday (5) and Sunday (6).For Linkin Park, it marks one of their first festival dates since they announced their comeback earlier this year with Dead Sara’s Emily Armstrong as vocalist and dropped new album ‘From Zero’.
For Green Day, it is one of many upcoming shows the punk trio have scheduled for 2025, including a headline show at the UK’s Download Festival.For Sam Fender, the announcement arrived as he announced his highly anticipated third album ‘People Watching’, and for Olivia Rodrigo it comes on the heels of her massive ‘Guts’ world tour, and makes her the festival’s youngest ever headliner.Shortly afterwards, more names were added, including Fontaines D.C., Amyl And The Sniffers, RAYE, Girl In Red and Barry Can’t Swim.Rock Werchter is on a roll!
